Hi Charlie,
We are now at a marina in Gothenburg and we are so happy that we did this long trip in just 28days. We arrived around 6.00 this morning and we got in just before the nasty weather started. At the end of the trip we had 25kn of gusting wind but right now it’s a lot more and heavy rain. Again, we are super impressed about your work and personal forecasts that guides us over the oceans. (See attached photo for the crew and I’m the guy in the light green fleece hood). We all say the same, we should never cross an ocean again without help from Charlie the weather router.!

Thank you for all your help on the crossing. It was a great help and I am sure we would not have done this without your assistance. Having the forecasts and routing from you makes a huge difference when you are looking at the sorts of seas and winds we had.

Charlies´clear layout of his emails made it easy for us to make decisions on board for our sail plan. His ability to interpret the bigger picture of the weather in the days to come allowed us to keep in the correct amount of wind for our crew and yachts ability and away from the bigger swells. His advice was so spot on that the crew started to take bets on exact wind shifts! As a skipper it shared some responsibility making an ocean crossing feel less daunting. I have used Charlie´s weather routing services for 10 Atlantic crossings, including 9 ARCs in racing devision. We have been able to dodge many tricky weather systems and stay in clearer skies for much more time than we could have hoped for! Thanks for your amazing advice all the time! It was really helpful to have your input and support. We were probably not the easiest crew to route, with some strange/incorrect questions and a tendency to follow our own plan. Your professional, patient and clear approach towards this made our passage way more solid and us better sailors.
This will definitely not be my last crossing / big passage. I will get in touch in the future to hopefully be able to use your services again!
