The My Weather Router approach
To be able to provide the kind of support that really makes a difference, we always approach each new client or yacht as if we were wanting to receive this same information. Asking ourselves always, “what is the information that this person needs now to make decisions” We are in contact with the boat as much as we can and offer support, not only on weather options but potentially on sail choices or suggestions to fix when a situation arises on board mid passage.
The daily reports and forecasts are generated by sailors and written for sailors, so there is no excessive terminology explaining the potential atmospheric conditions or complicated explanations of weather model interactions. The information you receive is clear to understand and presented so even novice sailors onboard will be able to follow the reports.
Who we have worked with in the past:
- Couples who have taken time off to cruise for a year or longer and complete the Atlantic circuit via the Caribbean and back to Europe.
- Families who have decided to take the live aboard route and home school their children while on the move
- Single handed sailors who look for shoreside support to help with their passages.
- Charter companies who look to make fast and efficient passages to get their boats back into usage as fast as possible.
- Delivery skippers who look for the fastest route where possible to complete a trip
- Professional skippers who like to have the shoreside back up while on passage or with an owner and have the ability to check their own routing is the best that can be offered.
- Racing skippers who are looking to straight line everything as much as possible and have a big crew to be able to manage more challenging conditions.
- New owners who are looking to coastal hop their way back to their home ports.
- The list goes on!
